Books are the lost wonders of the world.
They have a curious way of bringing people together. They can make a reader feel like things are good, even when they aren't. Books can frighten the reader and leave them with lingering nightmares. Although silent, they can be the loudest voice, telling us the one thing we need to hear the most. They help readers connect and be a part of something larger. When reality is feeling too real, they provide an escape. Books reduce stress, stimulate the brain, and can improve focus and memory skills. Readers all have different reasons for picking up a book, but there is no denying that books are truly the lost wonders of the world.
The front of each envelope lists either the name or number of a chapter from the book. Open the envelopes only when you reach that chapter in the story. Each envelope contains an item that correlates to what’s happening in the story at that time.
